Abstract
In this paper, we firstly define translation by evoking the expressions of gains and losses in the field. This was reinforced by the exploration of literary books of Stella Omonigho: Ada, the story of an orphan (2017) and his French version respectively. Although translation is the transmission of message from language A to language B, it is interesting to note that supplementary or deductive expressions in the target language cannot hinder the meaning or message of the author of the original text. This article, therefore, opted for translation literary technique in order to evaluate certain implicit and explicit lexicons in the said books. This research concludes that the additional or omissive information can in no way render the message hazy of what was initially clear or ridiculous of what was worthy.
