Abstract
Technological innovation and its financial implication of purchasing these technological equipment for studio use demands that mass communication professionals should advocates for local fabrication of most of these equipment. It means that mass communication professionals in relevant field such as broadcasting and film should collaborate with other professionals in mechanical, computer and electrical engineering to look inward to fabricate broadcast equipment to meet local demand. Also, there is need to also train mass communication undergraduates on little fabrication of some of these equipment so as to enhance their skills and diversify into equipment fabrication. Table microphone stands and Studios’ light are two of the studios’ equipment can be fabricated for local use. The table microphone stand can be used in either radio or television studios. The microphone stand is cheaper and portable to be used even outside the studio. Lights are also relevant for studio production most especially in television studios.
